The Litter-Robot 4 features a sealed waste drawer and carbon filter which help reduce litter box odors. The flexible Carbon Filter pad sits directly over the Waste Drawer to absorb odors. Under normal use, one filter should last approximately 1 month. The Carbon Filter is not required for the unit to function.

You can opt to replace the carbon filter with Whisker OdorTrap 2-Pack Packs (purchased separately) and the Whisker OdorTrap Pod with OdorTrap Pack System (purchased separately) designed to neutralize litter box odors.

Litter-Robot is not compatible with litters that are strictly absorbent, non-clumping, loose-clumping, newspaper-based, or wood-based pellets.
